I did add the extra xantham gum. I used Red Mill Gluten free flour, so substituted the milk with rice milk. They do taste a bit eggy and I might look into using an alternative. We needed them to be milk free too, coconut oil instead of butter and maple syrup instead of sugar and they turned out fantastic.

I make them ahead and freeze them all the time and this is how I reheat them and it works perfectly. Any thoughts on why too liquidy. Leave to rise for minutes. This is a very simple recipe.

  1. Would need to omit the milk - but will get that buttery flavor from a vegan butter to spread on afterward YUM. Servings 9. It certainly is a very sloppy mixture, I'd recommend making the dough in a bread machine and then spooning the mixture into a muffin tin to make rolls, more like a sticky cookie dough. The dough should be sticky and softer than regular roll dough.🕴
