The story of The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas is very difficult to describe. Usually we give some clues about the book on the cover, but in this case we think that would spoil the reading of the book. We think it is important that you start to read without knowing what it is about. If you do start to read this book, you will go on a journey with a nine-year-old boy called Bruno. And sooner or later you will arrive with Bruno at a fence.


Adult Written by joannesmith February 10, Found this in a charity shop and couldn't put it down. I really liked the book it was really fun!. Bruno is saddened to leave Shmuel behind.

Following the initial email, you will boo, contacted by the shop to confirm that your item is available for collection. It might have worked better if Bruno had been 5 or 6, and the self invented differences that lead humanity to separate itself, so the result is a book that isn't really suitable for any age group. A novel about the cruelties of war. Over the course of the story the two boys create a friendship despite being separated by the barbed wire fence.
