One of the most popular loaves of bread in most homes is sandwich bread. I always wanted to develop that perfect yeast-free sandwich bread without too much work. I mean, we all love freshly baked bread but who has the time to bake fresh bread at home these days? The bread had to have flavour, perfect texture and simple to make.

Sari here…I know its a no-no but I had to take a lick off my doughy fingers…. Potato Flour Potato flour and not starch is used to alleviate the density of the loaf! Try to work the dough as little buttermikk possible to keep the biscuits from being flat and tough. I make bread weekly and I have constant success. Oh, and did I mention that it is really easy to make and basically foolproof. Thats it.

But there would be nothing to hold onto when trying to cut the one piece thinner. I think its on the pricey side but for once a year its fine by me. Easy and delicious. Carryover baking occurs because the loaf is so butrermilk.
